Cutting Edge Sawmill is a family owned sawmill blade sharpening company built by sawyers who needed dependable blade service. When we couldn’t find someone nearby to sharpen and set our blades the way we wanted, we invested in professional equipment and learned to do it ourselves. Today, we provide that same service to sawyers across the country.

HOW WE GOT HERE
A Need Turned Into a Service.
We’ve owned and operated our sawmill for over 20 years. Like many sawyers, we know how important a sharp, properly set blade is. When we struggled to find consistent, high-quality blade service in our area, we decided to take it into our own hands. We invested in professional Wood-Mizer equipment, learned the process, and started sharpening and setting our own blades.
Word spread, and soon other sawyers were asking us to do their blades too. What started as a solution for our own needs has grown into a trusted sawmill blade sharpening company for customers across the country.

Carson Fancher
OWNER & OPERATOR
Carson runs the sawmill and handles the blade sharpening side of the business. With years of hands-on saw milling experience, he knows what it takes to keep blades cutting their best.
Noah Fancher
BLADE SETTER
Noah works with blade setting and shop operations. He brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail, helping make sure every blade is ready to perform in your mill.
Angie Fancher
