Customer Checklist

Blade Prep Checklist

Before bringing or shipping your blades to us, please take a few minutes to go through this checklist. It helps keep everyone safe and ensures your blades are ready for sharpening.

Before You Bring or Ship Your Blades

  • Clean off heavy buildup
Remove excess sawdust, pitch, or mud if possible. Blades don’t have to be spotless—just free of heavy debris.
  • Check for major damage
Look for cracked welds, broken teeth, or severe bends. If you notice anything unusual, let us know.
  • Coil blades safely
Coil each blade properly and secure it with zip ties or tape so it won’t spring open. Check out this YouTube video that shows how to coil your blades.
  • Separate and protect blades
Place cardboard or heavy paper between blades to prevent rubbing and damage.
  • Bundle blades tightly
Keep blades from shifting inside the box or vehicle to avoid damage during transport.
  • Label sharp edges
Mark the package as “Sharp” for safety.
  • Include your information
Place your name and phone number inside the box.
